Report from the Mens Shed 2022 Spring Fair

WOW! What a fantastic day - our Spring Fair was a resounding success. After months of planning and preparation our Members, superbly led by our Event coordinator Isobel Duncan, made the day one to remember for years to come. Chairman Mike Mowat said "Absolutely amazing effort from everyone, so proud to be a part of such a fantastic group of people"

The good folk of Glenrothes and surrounding areas really showed their appreciation for the services and facilities that the Men's Shed provided for their townsfolk by turning up in support of the Fair and helped to raise funds well in excess of our expectations.

Our visitors were amazed at the selection of stalls displaying goods made by members, liquid and solid refreshments, produce from the polytunnel, craft items from our new "Whitehouse" and one of the main attractions the "GRAND RAFFLE" with almost £1000 pounds of prizes kindly donated by local businesses and agencies (too many to mention here).

A grand day out was had by all. Our Chairman and his board of Trustees and Committee members would like to offer a huge "THANK YOU" to everyone who contributed to make the Spring Fair 2022 a massive success. The funds raised will be used to help us to continue to provide a facility which brings much friendliness, social wellbeing and improved mental health to those in our communities who need it most. Thank you.
